This is a full-service dining spot centered on authentic Ethiopian cuisine, drawing both locals familiar with the flavors and newcomers eager to explore something different. The interior is intimate and comfortable, featuring soft purple leather sofas and traditional touches that create a welcoming, relaxed vibe—perfect for an evening meal that lingers a little longer.

The restaurant’s strength lies in its attention to genuine flavors and traditional dishes, evident from favorites like the Shiro Wot and the variety of platters that highlight both meat and vegetarian options. Diners often come here looking for the familiar comfort of injera, and many find it refreshingly close to what they’ve experienced in Ethiopia. The ambience is enhanced by subtle traditional music, which complements the overall dining experience without overpowering conversation.

Really Good Ethiopian food. My wife is from Ethiopia and we always try to get some injera when we travel. First time for us in Vegas and the injera was really really good. Very good service and overall good experience.

Hey, y'all, hey. I hope y'all are having a great day About 3days ago I went to Abyssinia Restaurant & Lounge. It's near the blade. When you walk in right away you see these beautiful soft leather, purple sofas. You seat yourself well at least we did.. Right away I asked to use the bathroom. To see if it was clean. Because if a Restaurant bathroom isn't clean I'm not eating there. It was VERY CLEAN. I don't like where it's located but that's just me Anyway we order the platter part veges & part meat. It took a while but when it was brought to us, the AROMAS...FROM THE SPICES WAS EVERRRYTHING. I'm closing my eyes & I can still smell the freshness of it all!! The colors from the lentils to the greens to the tibs were so colorful. We order the injerah I probably spelled it wrong. The only thing was the injerah was cold. I mean cold like it was just taken out the fridge. I told our server I think her name was Mani. She apologized & when she brought it back it was warm. The other thing the food wasn't that hot either. It was more room temperature. But when I TELL Y'ALL THIS FOOD WAS CHEF kiss SLAP YO MOMMA as they say.. GOOOOD it was REEEEEEEALLY GOOD!! I was disappointed they didn't have any honey wine. But I'd definitely will go back. Aye, stop reading this & get to the Abyssinia Ethiopian Restaurant Continue to enjoy y'all day smooches btw the injerah what the food is placed on is so make your toes curl DELICIOUS due to the seasonings having soaked in i loved it!! See y'all at my next review

We hadn’t had Ethiopian food in years and were craving it and thankfully we found this spot. The restaurant is small but the interior is beautiful and comforting. They have traditional music playing in the background which we very much enjoyed. The host was very kind and service was excellent. We ordered the sambusa lentil and the vegetarian platter. The sambusa was fresh and crispy. The platter came with a variety of lentils and vegetables - each one extremely delicious and flavorful! My favorite was the yellow mung and my wife’s favorite was the green mung. It reminded us of Indian and Sri Lankan cuisines. Overall, it’s a solid restaurant and we would recommend to those who enjoy similar traditional dishes. We would definitely come back again.

I definitely recommend dining here for an evening out. Another recommendation: the Meat & Veggie platter. It's a must try for first time visitors. Be sure to ask about the spiciness level. Some of the spices will get you, and is worth the sampling. Good atmosphere, good food, and good service. I'll return to explore that lamb menu.

Food was amazing, we got the beef sambuca, doro wot and the awaze lamb tibs with injera of course and they were both incredible and packed with flavor. Service was great as well! No complaints. Highly recommend
